I believe in healing naturally through homeopathy, food, prayers and positive thoughts. I share my thoughts, my beliefs, my passions and my hopes here for my own self therapy. I also collect writings from other people whom I can relate too in my life journey. aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then reused it. A Father who was happier
getting old shoes fixed than buying new ones. Their marriage was good,
their dreams focused. I can see them now, Dad in trousers, tee shirt and a hat
and Mom in a house dress, lawn mower in one hand, dishtowel in the other. It
was the time for fixing things - a curtain rod, the kitchen radio, screen door, the
oven door, the hem in a dress. Things we keep. It was a way of life, and sometimes
it made me crazy. All that re-fixing, reheating, renewing, I wanted just once to be
wasteful. Waste meant affluence. Throwing things away meant there'd always be
more. But then my Mother died, and on that clear summer's night, in the warmth
of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there
isn't any 'more'. Sometimes, what we care about most gets all used up and goes
away.....never to return. So, while we have it, it's best we love it and care for it.....
and fix it when it's broken.....and heal it when it's sick. This is true for old cars.....
and children with bad report cards.....and dogs with bad hips.....and aging parents
.....and grandparents...and marriage. We keep them because they are worth it,
because we are worth it. Some things we keep.
The first thing that came to my mind was to use crushed garlic as natural remedy to ease the pain. Not only that I could not stand the bad smell from the garlic but it did not help with my infected tooth at all. I tried gargling with salt water which helped a little just enough for me to have a few hours of sleep. The next morning I was awakened by pain, more pain. After gargling with more salt water, I drove to my dentist hoping that she could extract my tooth on that day. In the dentist room, after examining my tooth the dentist told me that she will not extract it as I was in great pain and my gum has already been infected. She prescribed pain killer and two types of antibiotic. Take this and come back after a week, by then the pain should be gone, assured the dentist. What?? Come back after a week?? I was disappointed!! No way will I take pain killer and antibiotics!! I rushed home and decided to take my favorite homeopathic remedy which is Pulsatilla. This remedy came close to my characteristic and it has become my favorite remedy to all sort of physical complaints. After taking one dose of Pulsatilla 30c to my amazement the pain reduced considerably. I also take Calcarea Phos 6x alternately with Pulsatilla. After just two days I hardly feel anymore pain unless if I purposely knock on my infected tooth. What a great relief and I should have taken Pulsatilla and Calcarea Phos in the first place!! Never underestimate the power of homeopathy....
Duh! I'm not complaining but...emmm I guess this is it...... Anyway, I'm enjoying every minute of doing things for loved ones and for others. Though at times I wished I could have more time to myself. Time to sleep longer, time to shower longer, time to just sit back and relax....not doing anything and not having the guilt feelings soon after.

Looking back I realized that I've not reached the pinnacle of my time or have I? At 48, what have I achieved for MYSELF? Am I satisfied with what I have, with what I have become and with what I'm going to be? What I can say at this very moment is that my satisfaction comes from doing things for others especially for my husband and for my three children; this is my greatest achievement. Time for myself is time well spent with loved ones and that is exactly what I'm doing....so why the fuss??
To know more of her story please read here.
Manioc’s Vitamin B17 kills the cancer cell in humans

Apricot seed kernels are used in the fight against cancer. The kernels contain Vitamin B17, and Vitamin B17 is used in medication to counter cancer. B17 tablets with apricot seed extract are available in Australia and in the US. All the information you need is available on the www.worldwithoutcancer.com website.

This letter is about how manioc, which also contains Vitamin B17, has the potential to combat cancer.
My story starts with a cancer I developed seven years ago. A cystoscopy revealed transitional cell cancer. The kidney, ureter and a little part of the bladder where the ureter enters the bladder were surgically removed. I was given radiation treatment, and I remained in good health over the next seven years (I was examined once a year). My bladder was cancer-free until November 2009. That month I started passing blood. Another cystoscopy was done, and a polypoidal growth close to the bladder neck was removed. The biopsy this time again revealed transitional cell cancer.

I had read on world without cancer.org that manioc – also known as cassava or tapioca – has a high B17 component. For a whole month following the removal of the polypoidal growth in the bladder, I ate manioc daily, usually twice a day. A cystoscopy done a month later showed that the bladder was completely symptom-free. I felt very well.

Was my wellbeing the result of the cancer-fighting properties of manioc’s Vitamin B17? It would be wonderful, I thought, if a test group of cancer patients used manioc in order to confirm that manioc really does have the ability to fight cancer, as it seemed to have done in my case.

Here is what happens when a cancer patient eats manioc:

Once the manioc is consumed, the manioc’s Vitamin B17 combines in the normal human cell with an enzyme called Rhodanese, which breaks down the B17 into three sugars. The cancer cell, which is an immature cell, has a different enzyme, beta-glucosidase, which breaks the B17 into glucose, benzaldehyde and hydrocyanic acid. The hydrocyanic acid acts like an LTTE cyanide capsule, killing the cancer cell.

I appeal to all cancer patients to try the manioc solution. If it works, it could be a great discovery for cancer patients around the world, especially those living in the tropics of Asia, Africa and the Americas, where manioc / cassava / tapioca grows and is freely available.

Please note that there are precautions to be taken in the preparation of manioc.

1. Never, repeat never, eat ginger with manioc, or even after consuming manioc. If you have been eating manioc, do not take any form of ginger or ginger products, such as ginger beer and ginger-nut biscuits. The serious risks of mixing ginger with manioc are well known in Sri Lanka.

2. When preparing manioc for eating, check whether the tuber shows a blue line when peeled for cooking. If there is a blue line, the manioc must be rejected. Manioc has cyanide in it and the blue line is an indication of cyanide emergence.

3. Cook manioc in an earthenware pot. Fill the pot with water to completely cover the manioc, and well above the level of the manioc. When boiling, keep the pot open. Do not close the pot with a lid. Once the manioc is boiled, throw away the water in the pot.

Approximately after over one hour I completed my shopping at the Tamu. During this trip I forgot to take pictures of the flowers, dried prawn/dried anchovies/salted fish and the local eel and sago worms. Perhaps some other time...I hope you enjoy shopping with me. ;-)

Sometimes due to time constraint I will resort to cooking just one type of food - usually it is either fried mee hoon, yellow mee, kuey teow or just fried rice. To make up the absence of other dishes I will add lots of vegetables together with at least one source of protein (either sliced fish or chicken) into my one pot meal. This simple and fast meal is loaded with vegetables as you see in the picture. I'm glad that my three children and hubby loves vegetables as much as I do.Anne L*http://www.blogger.com/profile/06007277795580680871noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023028042610667998.post-62199858409288271912012-03-05T16:50:00.003+08:002012-07-05T15:53:44.225+08:00How I Make My Own Mulberry Tea

<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; text-align: center;">This picture was taken on the first day of January 2012. Yeah....kinda new pic but it was just me and my poor time management that has kept this post unpublished...not until today. :( Boohoo... Well, these are my beloved children. The eldest Aldo is doing his 3rd year Diploma in Music. This was not the kind of career that I expected from my bright and intelligent son but he has his own mind and more so all this while Jerome and I have been moulding him to be independent and to believe in himself. As parents, we could only try to share his passion in music and give him the fullest support he needed emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially. My second child Jody has just completed her secondary school and is waiting for her SPM exam result which will be out very soon. Jody is our chatter box at home. She is expressive and observant in nature and would enjoy talking and sharing anything under the sun. Earlier she told me that she is taking Nutrition as her chosen field of study. Somehow along the way, she decided that Psychology fits her better. Well, as a mother I have made up my mind to let my children decide their own choice of tertiary education. As parents, Jerome and I will discuss with them the pros and cons of becoming this or that. This has been our hot topic with them nowadays. My youngest, Joelle is a bonus! After having two miscarriages and two caesarean sections and at age thirty something, I was not thinking of ever capable of having another baby. But lo and behold...Joelle came into the picture! I could only thank our good Lord time and again. At 10 months old she was already walking and climbing the stairs at our home. Being the youngest, she has been hiding herself in her cocoon but recently she has spread her wings! Keep it up my girl! You know what I mean right?? All of you are very special in your own way. I love you all so very much. As this blog is dedicated to the three of you, I really really hope that this blog will be a constant companion to you wherever you are.....all the best in your journey of life and take good care of your health always. :)

The feelings of sadness over power me. How sad, how very sad it must be to have lost in the battle of fighting this disease. Just last year in 2011, I've lost an 8 year old relative of blood cancer (leukemia), my daughter's school friend also died of leukemia, a 49 year old friend of throat cancer, a friend's sister of breast cancer and a friend from the church of lung cancer.

I have two cancer patients that consulted me but have stopped seeing me mainly because they were confused of which treatment to use to 'cure' their sicknesses. Normally cancer patients will be in a state of confusion when loved ones thinking that they're helping trying to recommend them with all sort of methods to cure the cancer. Some will insist on conventional treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy while others may be more inclined towards alternative treatments. I'm not saying that they should use homeopathy method of treatment, no. I only want cancer patients to have more information about their diseases and the options available out there of how to equip themselves with the right weapon to fight in this battle field.
Here, I would like to share with you an Alternative Cancer Treatments (The Cancer Tutor Website): a website that could help whoever is looking for a second opinion. Indeed 2011 had been a great year for me. It had been a year of some accomplishments, disappointments and as well as frustrations. Looking back, somehow I’m glad that I experienced all the ups and downs of what 2011 had offered me and now I’m looking forward to another great year in 2012.

Another year means our age will advance to a year older (ha,ha) as I see it! Our biological clock never seems to stop working. Greying hairs, wrinkles, excess fats…you name it! Phoo…suddenly we realised that we are not as young as we used to be… ok, ok, I don’t want to sound so negative not with my 1st post of the year. Oops…

For this 2012, I’ve listed down very achievable resolutions. I do not want to end up feeling disappointed… (not cheating but more of being practical). Things that is important to me which I took for granted in the past. Among others I resolute that I will be more loving and forgiving to my family, especially my 3 children. I will not take things too seriously and to improve our communication. I resolute that I not only be a friend to them but be their best of friend! This year Aldo is turning 20, Jody 18 and my youngest will be 15. Gosh! Not an easy thing to do when your age is more than two decade apart but somehow this is achievable…
All the best to you all in 2012!Anne L*http://www.blogger.com/profile/06007277795580680871noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023028042610667998.post-38277945460982353812011-12-01T23:06:00.002+08:002012-01-26T22:17:38.382+08:00Milk & Breast CancerI would like to share with you this article which was extracted from 'Your Life in Your Hands', by Professor Jane Plant.

"I had no alternative but to die or to try to find a cure for myself. I am a scientist - surely there was a rational explanation for this cruel illness that affects one in 12 women in the UK?
I had suffered the loss of one breast, and undergone radiotherapy. I was now receiving painful chemotherapy, and had been seen by some of the country's most eminent specialists. But, deep down, I felt certain I was facing death. I had a loving husband, a beautiful home and two young children to care for. I desperately wanted to live.

Fortunately, this desire drove me to unearth the facts, some of which were known only to a handful of scientists at the time.

Anyone who has come into contact with breast cancer will know that certain risk factors - such as increasing age, early onset of womanhood, late onset of menopause and a family history of breast cancer - are completely out of our control. But there are many risk factors, which we can control easily.

These 'controllable' risk factors readily translate into simple changes that we can all make in our day-to-day lives to help prevent or treat breast cancer. My message is that even advanced breast cancer can be overcome because I have done it..

The first clue to understanding what was promoting my breast cancer came when my husband Peter, who was also a scientist, arrived back from working in China while I was being plugged in for a chemotherapy session.

He had brought with him cards and letters, as well as some amazing herbal suppositories, sent by my friends and science colleagues in China.

The suppositories were sent to me as a cure for breast cancer. Despite the awfulness of the situation, we both had a good belly laugh, and I remember saying that this was the treatment for breast cancer in China, then it was little wonder that Chinese women avoided getting the disease.
Those words echoed in my mind. Why didn't Chinese women in China get breast cancer? I had collaborated once with Chinese colleagues on a study of links between soil chemistry and disease, and I remembered some of the statistics.

The disease was virtually non-existent throughout the whole country. Only one in 10,000 women in China will die from it, compared to that terrible figure of one in 12 in Britain and the even grimmer average of one in 10 across most Western countries. It is not just a matter of China being a more rural country, with less urban pollution. In highly urbanized Hong Kong, the rate rises to 34 women in every 10,000 but still puts the West to shame.

The Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have similar rates. And remember, both cities were attacked with nuclear weapons, so in addition to the usual pollution-related cancers, one would also expect to find some radiation-related cases, too.

The conclusion we can draw from these statistics strikes you with some force. If a Western woman were to move to industrialized, irradiated Hiroshima, she would slash her risk of contracting breast cancer by half.
Obviously this is absurd. It seemed obvious to me that some lifestyle factor not related to pollution, urbanization or the environment is seriously increasing the Western woman's chance of contracting breast cancer.

I then discovered that whatever causes the huge differences in breast cancer rates between oriental and Western countries, it isn't genetic.

Scientific research showed that when Chinese or Japanese people move to the West, within one or two generations their rates of breast cancer approach those of their host community.

The same thing happens when oriental people adopt a completely Western lifestyle in Hong Kong. In fact, the slang name for breast cancer in China translates as 'Rich Woman's Disease'. This is because, in China, only the better off can afford to eat what is termed 'Hong Kong food'.

The Chinese describe all Western food, including everything from ice cream and chocolate bars to spaghetti and feta cheese, as 'Hong Kong food', because of its availability in the former British colony and its scarcity, in the past, in mainland China.

So it made perfect sense to me that whatever was causing my breast cancer and the shockingly high incidence in this country generally, it was almost certainly something to do with our better-off, middle-class, Western lifestyle.

There is an important point for men here, too. I have observed in my research that much of the data about prostate cancer leads to similar conclusions.

According to figures from the World Health Organization, the number of men contracting prostate cancer in rural China is negligible, only 0.5 men in every 100,000. In England, Scotland and Wales, however, this figure is 70 times higher. Like breast cancer, it is a middle-class disease that primarily attacks the wealthier and higher socio-economic groups ¨C those that can afford to eat rich foods.

I remember saying to my husband, 'Come on Peter, you have just come back from China. What is it about the Chinese way of life that is so different?'

Why don't they get breast cancer?'
We decided to utilize our joint scientific backgrounds and approach it logically.

We examined scientific data that pointed us in the general direction of fats in diets. Researchers had discovered in the 1980s that only l4% of calories in the average Chinese diet were from fat, compared to almost 36% in the West. But the diet I had been living on for years before I contracted breast cancer was very low in fat and high in fibre. Besides, I knew as a scientist that fat intake in adults has not been shown to increase risk for breast cancer in most investigations that have followed large groups of women for up to a dozen years..

Then one day something rather special happened. Peter and I have worked together so closely over the years that I am not sure which one of us first said: 'The Chinese don't eat dairy produce!'
It is hard to explain to a non-scientist the sudden mental and emotional 'buzz' you get when you know you have had an important insight. It's as if you have had a lot of pieces of a jigsaw in your mind, and suddenly, in a few seconds, they all fall into place and the whole picture is clear.

Suddenly I recalled how many Chinese people were physically unable to tolerate milk, how the Chinese people I had worked with had always said that milk was only for babies, and how one of my close friends, who is of Chinese origin, always politely turned down the cheese course at dinner parties.

I knew of no Chinese people who lived a traditional Chinese life who ever used cow or other dairy food to feed their babies. The tradition was to use a wet nurse but never, ever, dairy products.

Culturally, the Chinese find our Western preoccupation with milk and milk products very strange. I remember entertaining a large delegation of Chinese scientists shortly after the ending of the Cultural Revolution in the 1980s.

On advice from the Foreign Office, we had asked the caterer to provide a pudding that contained a lot of ice cream. After inquiring what the pudding consisted of, all of the Chinese, including their interpreter, politely but firmly refused to eat it, and they could not be persuaded to change their minds.

At the time we were all delighted and ate extra portions!

Milk, I discovered, is one of the most common causes of food allergies . Over 70% of the world's population are unable to digest the milk sugar, lactose, which has led nutritionists to believe that this is the normal condition for adults, not some sort of deficiency.
Perhaps nature is trying to tell us that we are eating the wrong food.

Before I had breast cancer for the first time, I had eaten a lot of dairy produce, such as skimmed milk, low-fat cheese and yoghurt. I had used it as my main source of protein. I also ate cheap but lean minced beef, which I now realized was probably often ground-up dairy cow.

In order to cope with the chemotherapy I received for my fifth case of cancer, I had been eating organic yoghurts as a way of helping my digestive tract to recover and repopulate my gut with 'good' bacteria.

Recently, I discovered that way back in 1989 yoghurt had been implicated in ovarian cancer . Dr Daniel Cramer of Harvard University studied hundreds of women with ovarian cancer, and had them record in detail what they normally ate. wish I'd been made aware of his findings when he had first discovered them..
Following Peter's and my insight into the Chinese diet, I decided to give up not just yoghurt but all dairy produce immediately. Cheese, butter, milk and yoghurt and anything else that contained dairy produce - it went down the sink or in the rubbish.
It is surprising how many products, including commercial soups, biscuits and cakes, contain some form of dairy produce. Even many proprietary brands of margarine marketed as soya, sunflower or olive oil spreads can contain dairy produce .
I therefore became an avid reader of the small print on food labels.

Up to this point, I had been steadfastly measuring the progress of my fifth cancerous lump with callipers and plotting the results. Despite all the encouraging comments and positive feedback from my doctors and nurses, my own precise observations told me the bitter truth.

My first chemotherapy sessions had produced no effect - the lump was still the same size.
Then I eliminated dairy products. Within days, the lump started to shrink . About two weeks after my second chemotherapy session and one week after giving up dairy produce, the lump in my neck started to itch. Then it began to soften and to reduce in size. The line on the graph, which had shown no change, was now pointing downwards as the tumour got smaller and smaller.

And, very significantly, I noted that instead of declining exponentially (a graceful curve) as cancer is meant to do, the tumour's decrease in size was plotted on a straight line heading off the bottom of the graph, indicating a cure, not suppression (or remission) of the tumour.

One Saturday afternoon after about six weeks of excluding all dairy produce from my diet, I practised an hour of meditation then felt for what was left of the lump. I couldn't find it.. Yet I was very experienced at detecting cancerous lumps - I had discovered all five cancers on my own. I went downstairs and asked my husband to feel my neck. He could not find any trace of the lump either.

On the following Thursday I was due to be seen by my cancer specialist at Charing Cross Hospital in London. He examined me thoroughly, especially my neck where the tumour had been. He was initially bemused and then delighted as he said, 'I cannot find it.'
None of my doctors, it appeared, had expected someone with my type and stage of cancer (which had clearly spread to the lymph system) to survive, let alone be so hale and hearty.

My specialist was as overjoyed as I was. When I first discussed my ideas with him he was understandably skeptical. But I understand that he now uses maps showing cancer portality in China in his lectures, and recommends a non-dairy diet to his cancer patients.

I now believe that the link between dairy produce and breast cancer is similar to the link between smoking and lung cancer. I believe that identifying the link between breast cancer and dairy produce, and then developing a diet specifically targeted at maintaining the health of my breast and hormone system, cured me.

It was difficult for me, as it may be for you, to accept that a substance as 'natural' as milk might have such ominous health implications. But I am a living proof that it works and, starting from tomorrow, I shall reveal the secrets of my revolutionary action plan."
As a matter of fact Bryonia Alba could be anyone sister, brother or friend. Haha...gotcha! ;-)
Bryonia Alba is actually a homeopathic remedy. If you are irritable when you're sick, vehement, angry and everything seems to put you out of humour, you are most likely to need this remedy for your illness. Let us check further on the overall characteristics of this wonderful remedy.
Generally, there will be aching in every muscle and the pain feels like stitching, tearing; worse from movement (all pain will be worsen by any motion) and feels better when resting. The mucous membranes of the entire body are all dry. The lips and tongue dry, parched, cracked; stools large, hard, dry as if burnt; urine dark and scanty; cough dry, hard, racking, with scanty expectoration; bursting and splitting headache as if hit by a hammer from within, worse on motion even when stooping or opening eyes, throat dry with excessive thirst, stomach sensitive to touch. This remedy is best for those having gout or rheumatic pains, constipated, cough and headache if the symptoms above fit the symptoms of the person.

The main characteristics; aggravation from any motion and amelioration (relief) from absolute rest. I remember back in my younger days my mom used to grow this vegetable at our backyard. I used to help mom cover the tiny growing fruit with newspaper to protect them from being eaten by pests. When the vegetables are ready to be picked, one only needs to 'feel' the newspapers that cover the fruits. It was a very interesting process. (well at least, for me!) The only way to find out was to hold the newspaper. If you feel that the vegetable inside the newspaper is big enough to be picked, then you may pluck it from the tree. There were times when we accidentally left the fruit too long on the tree and it ripened before we could collect it. We normally stir fry the ripened bitter gourd. The seeds of the ripened bitter gourds are red in colour and surprisingly they taste sweet!

The best time to harvest the vegetable is when it has matured but still unripe. Eating bitter gourd regularly can help build our immunity system as they are so rich in nutrients.
When making salad from bitter gourd make sure that it is firm and unripe. The ripe one will be too soft and may be very bitter and not suitable for making salad. Very easy to make; clean your bitter gourd under cold running water and add a drop of biodegradable cleaning liquid. I usually use my own homemade cleaning enzyme to wash vegetables. After the vegetable is thoroughly cleaned, slice it length wise and scoop out the seeds. Slice it into small pieces and place it in a glass bowl. To add flavour, take a handful of dried anchovies. Wash the anchovies and soak in hot water for 10 minutes before adding them into the bowl of bitter gourd. Finally add sliced chilly, shallot, lime juice and salt to taste. Mix them together. Your bitter gourd salad is now ready.

Among others it could help alleviate various condition such as constipation, anemia, dizziness, heart palpitations, strained eye-sight, insomnia and many others. When I googled 'health benefits of mulberry' I found numerous information regarding this wonderful fruits. Most of the articles says that mulberry could help chronic gastritis and chronic hepatitis, strengthen body organ such as liver, kidney and heart. It could also lower cholesterol and blood sugar level. One that really strikes me the most is that the juice if applied directly on the scalp may promote healthy hair and blackening of gray hairs! On top of that the fruits not only have high vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium and potassium content but they're also rich in resveratrol, a compound with anti cancer properties. Wow! Such a remarkable thing for a small and humble fruit like mulberry...

I prepared power point presentation slides as well as a sharing about our family for the talk. After a week of preparations with amendments, additions and editing the final product was finally ready. That Sunday, everything was fine until Jerome asked me to do a last minute amendment and to go to a printing shop to make photocopies of our notes. At that time I just came back from sending Joelle to her Sunday school class at 10.00am and I supposed to fetch her back at 11.30am. Jerome and I were asked to go to our parish at 12.00pm an hour before our scheduled talk. Why the last minute request from my other half? I was quite mad about it and decided not to do anything with the presentation anymore. Yes, I will drop by the printing shop before picking Joelle, pick Joelle, send her home and then go to the parish hall. As I was thinking that I might be late to reach the venue, I suddenly feel a slight spell of uneasiness in my chest. I found it hard to breathe and I could hear my heart pumping the blood in and out of my arteries. Oh my God! I'm having palpitations and tight chest! I try to take long deep breath but only small airs manage to go into my nostril. I quietly walked towards Jerome and asked him to pray for me. According to Jerome, my face at that time was so pale. I was still trying to catch some air but with much difficulty. I forced myself to cough so that I could get some oxygen into my body. While Jerome prayed over me, I felt a sensation of peace. What was happening to me? I never felt like this before.
Is it anxiety, stress, panic attack?
The only homeopathic remedy that I was thinking at that time was Pulsatilla. I was glad that I have it in my bag all the time. It helped me to relax and slowly my breathing was back to normal. After that incident I spoke with some friends about it, I was told that it could also be some kind of spiritual attack because we are doing the Lord's work. Perhaps they were right. The only way to be stronger than the devil is PRAYER. ;-)Anne L*http://www.blogger.com/profile/06007277795580680871noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023028042610667998.post-61239627618624219832011-08-14T23:49:00.004+08:002011-11-25T09:01:03.082+08:00Nutritious crocodile meat
Recently Jerome and I went out of the way from our usual Tamu shopping at Donggongon to Lido wet market. He owns a big crocodile farm at a village in Penampang. Mr. Kong persuaded us to buy some of his produce...crocodile meat!

I cooked the bones together with the herbs recommended by Mr Kong. Surprisingly true, there were no traces of oil in the herbal crocodile soup! When I presented the soup on our dining table not even one of my children suspected anything different. They just took the soup like any other soup. Very easy to prepare. Wash all the vegetables and simply slice the cabbage and carrot. Mix with 2 tablespoon of fish sauce and a bit of organic brown sugar. Lastly, dice the tomato and add them into the salad.
Even after explaining to them a number of times the wonder of fever but still, they will resort into taking antibiotics. How very sad! Fever is in fact our strongest weapon to fight against infections or illnesses. But most parents will be worried sick when they or their child's temperature rise up. Our body has fever because it is infected with bacteria, germs or viruses. It is our immunity system that raises our body temperature so that these harmful microbes will be killed. These microbes can only live in a normal body temperature between 36.5°C to 37.5°C. When our body is having a fever i.e. above 37.5°C to 38.5°C, it is an ideal temperature to kill harmful microbes. However, try not to let it rise above 40°C for long period as it will lead to kidney failure and brain damage. Control the body temperature by drinking plenty of water, lots and lots of it and bring down the temperature by sponge bathing.

I normally will not give any medication when my children contracted fever not until the fever is over 39°C. Most of the time, I will make sure that they drink plenty of water and sleep, sleep and sleep. In a day or two the fever is gone! Never disturb your immunity system doing its work by letting antibiotics into your body. Antibiotics will only hinder your natural body's response to get better naturally. In the process you weaken your own immunity system because antibiotics will not only kill the bad guys but also the good ones!!

Homeopathic remedies for fever that I have often used in my clinic are Aconite, Arsenicum, Belladonna and Ferrum Phos depending on the symptom.

Anne L*http://www.blogger.com/profile/06007277795580680871noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023028042610667998.post-92218275743217400862011-06-20T10:48:00.027+08:002011-11-08T21:24:41.887+08:00My Moringa Tree

The below is absolutely 100% true and as a doctor I have been telling people this for 15 years now. No one wants to listen. Folks need to wake up. Cancer treatment is about making money. It is a 120 billion dollar a year industry in the United States alone and estimated to be a 600 billion dollar a year industry worldwide.

A successful cancer case according to the American Cancer Society and the American College of Oncology and Hematology means that the person survives for 5 years. Both the American Cancer Society and the American College of Oncology and Hematology admit that a person is likely to survive cancer for 7 to 10 years even if they do absolutely NOTHING. Of course, only the doctors get those magazines - not you, the cancer patient.

Alternative medicine's track record of curing cancer is 10 times higher than that of conventional medicine. Note that I say CURE.

Remember another thing. A TUMOR is just a symptom. It is not the cause of cancer.

Science is cause and effect. Remove the cause and the effect disappears.

I am in my third battle with cancer right now. I have not done any chemotherapy or radiation or surgery for any of my bouts with cancer. I survived leukemia, I survived Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and now I have Glioblastoma which is supposedly an incurable form of brain cancer. I was given two months to live 5 months ago.

I have been using Chinese herbs, high doses of vitamin C, acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy and nutritional changes. Yes, at first it got worse. It had metastasized to my lymph nodes, my lungs and my bones. As of this week, I am happy to say that there is no evidence now of any cancer in my lymph system or my bones. I had 6 tumors in my lungs, now there are only two. The tumors in my brain have shrunken tremendously. I never did any of their chemo, radiation or surgery.

Here is a very interesting statistic that you can only have access to by being a doctor. Every year more than 1,000 doctors oncologists (cancer doctors) are diagnosed with cancer. Less than 10% of them choose to do the treatment that they have been giving to their patients. Sort of like the fact that less than 25% of all pediatricians vaccinate their own children because of the fact that the risk of sudden death or serious side effects from the vaccination is higher than the risk of catching the disease one is being vaccinated for. This is not bullshit people - it is truth.

Medicine is about money, not about your health and the system traps people, especially the elderly, disabled and poor into a deadly treatment regime that puts them in an early grave. Meanwhile, all the jet set billionaires are flying off to Europe and paying big bucks for alternative treatments and getting cured.

Does alternative medicine work all the time? No. Of course not. Nothing works all the time. But there is a reason for that. You don't die until it's your time to die. Nothing can make you live longer than that time.

However quality of life comes into play. Those cancer patients who use alternative therapies for their cancer, yet still die from the illness, suffer a much higher quality of life. They die able to spend time with their families and even recognize their family members. They don't become emaciated like those who do chemotherapy or radiation do and rarely is a person who goes under the treatment of chemotherapy able to recognize anyone for the last few days of their lives. Their bodies become ravaged to the point that you can't even recognize them either. They suffer at a much much higher rate and they have one let down after another as doctors tell them, ahhh - it's looking good, only to tell them on the next visit it's looking worse, you need more chemo and radiation.

What is criminal about this is that YOUR DOCTORS KNOW THIS SHIT.

I took an oath as a physician. I have always followed it. That has certainly not made me successful financially as a doctor because I have consistently refused to go along with conventional medicine's bullshit.
Though I've been thinking about it but it just seemed impossible for me to sit and write...

I do not have any maid or domestic helper for 2 years now. Anyway, I'm glad that somehow I manage to put things in good order. As a busy mother and running a homeopathy clinic at home, I value my time so very much.

I'm living in a house that has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms! A hall that can comfortably accommodate 30 people at one time (normally used for church activities). Attached to it is my clinic, i.e., my consultation room and a waiting room. Next to it is an underground living room with a wine cellar at the corner. Outside my house I have a garden that needs my constant attention. Our car porch is quite huge too where it can also be used as badminton court. My daily routine starts with waking up at 5.00am and will be up till 1.00am though I'm trying my best to end the day by 11.00pm.

I do the laundry (daily), cleaning the entire house (weekly), watering the plants (alternate days), cooking for my family (daily), shopping for groceries (weekly), keeping my hubby and kids healthy (at all times), picking my daughters from school (daily), sending them to extra classes (3 times weekly), appointments with patient (as and when needed), attending mass (daily) except Saturdays, attending household meetings (in the evening twice or thrice weekly), etc.

Though tired and exhausted I am contented and satisfied. Indeed, today has been another day of joy, love and commitment.Anne L*http://www.blogger.com/profile/06007277795580680871noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023028042610667998.post-85595886573672255542011-02-14T11:40:00.001+08:002020-05-30T14:42:02.168+08:00On Valentine's DayHappy Valentine's Day! Know that you are special!! Just to share with you the story below:

An old man got on a bus one February 14th, carrying a dozen
roses. He sat beside a young man. The young man looked at
the roses and said, "Somebody's going to get a beautiful
Valentine's Day gift."

"Yes," said the old man.

A few minutes went by and the old man noticed that his young
companion was staring at the roses. "Do you have a
girlfriend?" the old man asked.

"I do," said the young man. "I'm going to see her right
now, and I'm going to give her this Valentine's Day card."

They rode in silence for another 10 minutes, and then the
old man got up to get off the bus. As he stepped out into
the aisle, he suddenly placed the roses on the young man's
lap and said, "I think my wife would want you to have these.
I'll tell her that I gave them to you."
He left the bus quickly. As the bus pulled away, the young
man turned to see the old man enter the gates of a cemetery.
